War at a Higher Level
My experience with businesses and this recent downturn in the job market has given me insight.
The truth about being a marketer is that most people do not know what they are looking for, and they hide behind their titles.
Their opinions of how marketing works.
There is a reason why their businesses cease to work.
You can walk in front of people with all the certifications, degrees, and whatever else.
They still will not hear you.
You can come to them with proof of how much you have changed your organization.
They will still hire someone less skilled or talented than you, which will hurt.
You do that until you are fed up with the idiocy and the lies.
“We will hire you tomorrow, the next day, next week…”
No.
What these businesses do not understand is that I was being kind.
I was choosing not to be in your industry out of kindness.
I did not want to have to battle you in the marketplace.
However, you made this inevitable.
Since the business world keeps chewing me up and spitting me back out, now it is time to take the fight to you.
Jeet Kune Do is all about adaptation.
I have not adapted to my situation.
It ends today, and I will bring the fight to you.
If you want someone else, you have to hope they are better than me.
I guarantee you that they are not.
I will burn a hole in the marketplace.
I will disrupt it.
You like that, and that is what you want.
But you will be on the receiving end instead.
You wanted this fight, so here it comes to you.
I hope you are prepared.
Your team cannot save you.
You cannot have a team of 9 to 5’s beat me.
